2025年7月25日から27日にかけて開催された第11回アジア獣医病理学会（11th Asian Society of Veterinary Pathology, ASVP）において, 当研究室の博士課程4年に在籍する大学院生2名および教員1名が以下の3部門で学会賞を受賞しました。
· Best Micrographs Award：Markbordee Boonkanit (DC4), 朴天鎬先生
· Best Poster Presentation Award：Iamohbhars Nuttipa (DC4)
· Best Oral Presentation Award：朴天鎬先生
ASVPは, アジア地域における獣医病理学の発展および感染症をはじめとする重要課題に関する情報共有を目的として, 2003年に設立されました。現在, 日本, 韓国, 台湾, タイ, インドネシア, マレーシア, フィリピン, ベトナム, インド, パキスタンの10カ国が加盟しています。第11回大会は,マレーシアの首都クアラルンプールにて開催されました。ASVP学会は2年に一度開催されており, 加盟国間の学術的・専門的交流の促進に寄与しています。今回の受賞は, 狂犬病の病理発生機序および新規診断法の開発に関する長年の研究成果が高く評価されたものと考えています。狂犬病は, アジア地域における重要な人獣共通感染症の一つであり, 今後も本研究成果を基盤に新たな知見の発信を継続してまいります。本研究の遂行にあたり, 多大なるご支援・ご協力を賜りました関係各位に心より感謝申し上げます。
Graduate Students and Faculty Member from theLaboratory of Veterinary Pathology Received Awards at the 11th Asian Society ofVeterinary Pathology (ASVP) Conference
At the 11th AsianSociety of Veterinary Pathology (ASVP) Conference, held from July 25 to 27,2025, two doctoral students in their fourth year and one faculty member fromour Laboratory of Veterinary Pathology received awards in the following threecategories:
· Best Micrograph Award: Markbordee Boonkanit (DC4) and AssociateProf. Dr. Park ChunHo
· Best Poster Presentation Award: Iamohbhars Nuttipa (DC4)
· Best Oral Presentation Award: Associate Prof. Dr. Park ChunHo
The ASVP wasestablished in 2003 with the aim of promoting the development of veterinarypathology in Asia and facilitating the exchange of information on infectiousand other important diseases. The society currently consists of ten membercountries: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, thePhilippines, Vietnam, India, and Pakistan.
The 11th conferencewas held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The ASVP conference is heldbiennially and serves as a significant platform for academic and professionalexchange among member countries.
These awards recognizethe longstanding research efforts of our laboratory in elucidating thepathogenesis of rabies and developing novel diagnostic methods. Rabies remainsa critical zoonotic disease in the Asian region, and we are committed tocontinuing the dissemination of new scientific findings based on this research.
